Version 0.8.0 adds ad hiding and a Facebook Home cleanup, rebuilds the panel around one list of destinations, and moves topic filtering into the free plan. It was submitted on 20 September 2026 and published on the Chrome Web Store on 21 September 2026, replacing 0.7.4.
- Added: hide Facebook ads.In the feed, the sidebar, and the Reels strip, in any language. Remove the ad or leave a marker, match all likely ads or only labelled ones, and block individual advertisers. Free, with no limit.
- Added: clean up Facebook Home.Hide the side menus, Stories, the post box, and floating chat. Turning Feed Control off restores all of it. Free, with no limit.
- Changed: topic filtering is free.Topics count toward the three filters the free plan runs at a time, alongside words, phrases, hashtags, domains, and sources. Comment Shield remains Pro.
- Changed: filters past the limit are kept.Save up to 500. A filter beyond the three the free plan runs is saved paused rather than refused, and starts running when a slot frees up or Pro is activated.
