Facebook Reset & Feed Control runs from the Facebook pages you already open in desktop Chrome. It stores Facebook list data, settings, and receipts locally in Chrome storage.

What stays local
The extension reads available Facebook list data in your signed-in Chrome session. If Facebook does not provide a list directly, you can allow the extension to scan the open page; that fallback is off by default. Lists, selections, kept items, settings, and run history stay in local Chrome storage and IndexedDB. Local history export downloads JSON or CSV; it does not upload Facebook data.

Operational diagnostics
Diagnostics are optional and off by default. Free, Pro, cleanup, safety checks, and support work without them. Enable them in the first-install page or Settings. No earlier history is uploaded.
When enabled, the extension sends coarse stages: first observed open, scan ready, run summary, Feed value, Pro gates, checkout opened, and license verified. Each summary contains the release, a count bucket, outcome, and automatic/manual activation mode. Screen names and filtered error diagnostics can also be sent. Error filtering removes URLs, email addresses, and common credential fields. The extension does not send Facebook identifiers, names, relationships, page contents, rules, raw history, email addresses, license keys, or error stacks.
A random diagnostic ID expires after 45 days. It can link consented stages with the separate functional checkout session and a server-verified sale to find activation failures. The same ID groups privacy-limited PostHog events without creating a person profile. It is not an account fingerprint. Reinstallation creates a new observed exposure. Late opt-ins and restored Pro are not counted as new Free installations.
Cloudflare hosts the activation service and stores its summaries for at most 45 days. PostHog processes consented product and error events under the shared 12-month retention plan. Geographic enrichment, person profiles, autocapture, session replay, surveys, advertising, and cross-product identity joins are disabled. Turn diagnostics off to stop future collection and request deletion of the Cloudflare summaries. Contact support with the approximate date and version for a PostHog deletion request. Aggregate reports contain counts, not Facebook lists.

Payments and license delivery
Gumroad processes the purchase. The extension and our activation service exchange license keys, checkout sessions, product and sale identifiers, and activation or revocation status. The service verifies licenses with Gumroad. It keeps checkout activation records for 30 days and license/sale indexes for 400 days to handle delivery, duplicate notifications, refunds, and disputes.
Server-verified delivery records contain sale identifiers, dates, amounts, fees, test/refund/dispute status, and the first observed verified activation. They remain separate from optional diagnostics and expire after 400 days. Missing data remains unknown. We do not receive your card number or Facebook password. Gumroad and Cloudflare process network requests under their own privacy policies.
The website uses a 30-minute first-party source cookie and a random browser-session ID. Privacy-limited PostHog events contain the product-page path and title, locale, campaign and referrer host, outbound store or Pro clicks, scroll thresholds, load timing, and filtered JavaScript errors. Query strings, geographic enrichment, person profiles, autocapture, and session replay are disabled. PostHog processes normal network metadata and retains these events under the shared 12-month plan. This analytics path never receives Facebook page content. Read the site privacy policy or contact support.
